The Aldeburgh Museum is housed in one of the most important timber-framed public buildings in England. Dating from the first half of the 16th Century it originally contained six small shops on the ground floor and a spacious meeting chamber on the first floor. The Town Council still meets here today and it provides an attractive display area for the Museum.

Opening Hours 2010

Easter to the end of April:
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays only – 1430-1700
May, September and October:  daily 1430-1700
June, July and August:  daily 1200-1700
November-March:  Closed

During September and October the Aldeburgh Museum will be open daily from 14.30-1700

We shall be closed Sunday 17 October for a charity fishing match and will close for the winter on Monday 1 November

Adults £1;  accompanied children free.
